So, we meet again.

It has been a year. I had completely forgotten about this blog and my quest to conquer 2010.

Sadly, much of what I had anticipated for myself in 2010 did not occur. I blame myself. I feel off my own bandwagon and got caught living in the moment instead of looking toward the future.

I could go on and on with possible reasons of why my story did not unfold as planned in the last year, but what really matters is how I'm going to take my experiences from 2010 and use them in my pursuit of happiness...

Luck or Law, Something Has Gotta Give

I have big dreams for my future. I will conquer a city, enjoy a fulfilling career, fall in love, get skinny, accumulate a positive net worth, and eventually, move out of my parents house.

I remember this time last year thinking 'By next year, I'll have a different job, and I'll live on my own in a cubicle-sized shitty apartment in New York City. Life will be grand.'

Apparently over the past year I was doing everything all wrong. Flash forward to me unemployed, sitting on my twin sized bed, in my cubicle-sized bedroom of my parents home.

Something has gotta give, so I'm trying a new approach. I've been hearing more and more about The Law of Attraction, and the novel 'The Secret'.

Ask, believe and you shall receive.

It sounds so simple, so I'm going to give it a try. The optimist in me is thinking It IS a Law, so it has to work. Right? The more cynical side is saying, It's just luck, those who believe and receive should just consider themselves lucky.

Luck or Law, either way I'm putting my all on the table, asking, believing, and hopefully receiving. I'm giving this 100%, so I figured If you have to put your thoughts and feelings out in to the universe, what's a better medium to do so than a blog?
